Dr. Eastin was a strong supporter of the Betty D. Eastin Costume Collection at UK, which is housed in the Merchandising, Apparel and Textiles Department in Erikson Hall. His interest and support will be greatly missed. My prayers go to his family.

Dr. Eastin was such a wonderful man. It was a proud and touching moment when he received the KVMA Distinguished Service Award in 2009. God bless and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
