To family and friends,
I knew him as Chuck when I worked for him at the JC Rec in 1971. I was a Broome Tech student working as a pinchaser for Chuck. He was an honest guy who was good to work for. He was also a really good mechanic, and those Brunswick machines clanked along reliably! That said, I didn't have to do much more than dust approaches between leagues, set a pin once in awhile and clean and lube. Had plenty of time to do homework, and had the best grades of my college years.
