Not sure what to say?

Charles (Ernie) Ernst was simply one of the BEST human beings i have ever had the privilege of knowing ! I mean that with all of my broken heart! I only found out about his passing in 2014 & have been trying to find out anything i can about him . Because of Facebook several of us Ranger Shipmates have gotten in contact with each other & Ernie (as we all called him) is the one glaring absence. We all are heartbroken. I know how cleche' this sounds , but to know Ernie was to love...

Daphne and the Ernst family,
We are so heartbroken for your loss. It seems like yesterday we were with Chuck in Hawaii watching him take pictures, always with a kind and sweet smile.Fighting with me over the remote control, he wanted the History Channel and I wanted "E"! I know Damian is there, but I wanted to extend our condolences. He was a great guy with a gentle and loving heart. Again, I am so sorry for your pain. My prayers have been and are with you and the entire Ernst and Rhodes...

Terry, Phyllis & Brad,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. It was a lovely service. I recall the good times at Thanksgiving playing billards downstairs at Eve & Ole's as kids. God Bless!
Love, Ray, Lynn, Jevin(Maggie)& Shane Pinske

Terry and Phyllis,

We are so very sorry to hear about the loss of Chuck. Doug Birkholz & Bill Baumann called to inform us. We will be in Mesa until the end of the month. I will call you later this week. May your faith keep you strong...God bless,

Keith and Mary Jo Bromley

Our thoughts & prayers are with you and all of Chucks family at this time. We love you. Uncle Harold & Aunt Mary Jane

Phyllis:
Words don't mean a thing to you right now. Sandy & I would have come if we had more time. I do know the pain & grief you are going through. (Personally) All I can say is that sure as the sun rises & sets, your grief will subside through time.

The only thing that will help you are your family, friends and GOD'S soft hand on your shoulder to help you through this difficult time.

Please take care of yourself.
