Dr. Evans was no nonsense and indeed a scholar, gentleman, leader, family man who lived life to the fullest. My prayers are with the Evans family for his spirit will live on forever.

Dr. Evans was the impetus for a major change in my life. He worked with his good friend Dr. Melvin Stith to convince me to get my MBA. He came to me multiple times in those days and not only convinced me but got me a full ride including living expenses. A giant among men!
