Read MoreI had the privilege of discussing a lot of business and many interesting things with Campbell all the way from South Africa. He was a lovely person and all I ever imagined a Texan to be. Salt of the earth, straight shooting and totally reliable. He will be missed. And as we say here Hamba Kahle, go well friend.

While I didn't know Campbell well in high school, his smile and love of life was infectious. You could tell when Campbell arrived at the reunions, the room just seemed to lighten up and he had a unique way of making everyone feel important and remembered (even if we weren't). I feel I can speak for all our classmates in saying he will be sorely missed.
