Not sure what to say?

Mr Fackler was the floor principal at STHS in the mid 70’s and 50 plus years later I still remember his great skill he had in that position. It would be easy to be tough and feared in that job. He was firm, reasonable, fair and earned kids’ respect. Without elaboration, I was once in a position where I was referred for his ‘counsel’ and he could have justifiably meted out a severe penalty. To my surprise, he showed understanding, mercy and warmth. He made a deal with me vis a vis my behavior...

Pete was a super teacher on that he was admired so much that we wanted to do well. Pete was a really cool guy and great friend especially those that played sports and interacted with him . Whenever I saw him he never forgot my name and stopped to talk especially in Weis while shopping. Peace to you Mr fackler, as we all loved you. Denny Woolf class of 1960, first graduation class at current High School.

To the entire Fackler family, please accept my heartfelt condolences. Mr. Fackler was a fine teacher and a true gentleman, whom I looked up to. Years later I was his mailman on Grace Rd. From time to time I enjoyed talking with him and his kind and gracious wife. I also got to know his son Richard, who had joined the U.S. Postal Service. May the Peace of God be with you now and in the days ahead. ...

Pete Fackler was a wonderful person. In my teen years, he is probably the biggest reason I stayed in High School from being completely bored. Pete truly cared about his students and we all thought highly of him. Sincere condolences to his family.

Mr Fackler was my assistant principle at Susq . Twp High School from 1972-1976 . He and Tom Miles ran an excellent high school. Mr Fackler was very personable and interacted with everyone. He was tough , but extremely fair . One day he caught Craig Morgan and I in the upstairs hallway cutting a class and roaming the halls. He can´t around the corner and saw us coming. He said "MAGARO , MORGAN, I know you don´t have a pass to be out here , so vanish now !!!! We turned to go and...

I well remember Charlie. He was my Problems of Democracy teacher my senior year at Susquehanna in 1962-63. He was always a gentleman in class, graded fairly, and brought his subject matter "to life." My sincere condolences to his

Mr Fackler was my principal when I was a student at Hershey High School. He was a kind and caring, involved principal who earned the respect of all the students & staff. I have always remembered him fondly. Little did I know that Biz and Todd and James and Courtney would be part of my life all these years later! His children are a direct reflection of the kind of man Pete was. Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not harm...

Sincere sympathies to the Fackler family. Mr. Fackler was the principal at STHS when I moved to Harrisburg in the 10th grade. He was so kind and helpful. I grew to know and appreciate the kind of person he was by also attending Brookfield Bible Church. He is now resting in the arms of his Heavenly Father.

I will never forget Mr. Fackler he really stood out at STHS in the 70' also a great teacher. He was honest firm and straight forward kind of a person. He had a big heart. Our deepest condolences to family and friends.
