Not sure what to say?

Peter, I am praying for your and your family as you celebrate the life and legacy of your father. After reading the obituary, he appears to have made a mark on people's lives that will never be erased.

I have had the pleasure of cutting both Bill and Jane's hair for many years now. Throughout all those years I got to hear stories of Bill's life...his children and grandchildren. I truly did enjoy those times that he sat in my chair. I will miss his friendly smile and quick wit.

Bill and Jane were one of my first friends when I wandered in to First UU, a friendless and confused parent of two. Two better people I've never met. Jane, my condolences, along with that of my children, Donald and Heather, who remember both of you very fondly. I will see you soon.

Please accept our condolences. We have such wonderful memories of Bill attending Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra concerts with Jane. The wonderful letter that he and Jane wrote in support of A2SO concerts for a grant application still stands as one of the best, most heart-felt testaments to the value of music in one's life we have ever read. We will miss him.

Bill and his family took me in when I had no money and no place to stay. They introduced me to the First Unitarian Church (as it was called then). I lived with them for 4 months. I'll always miss Bill.

Bill was one of my first bosses at CPHA. I really liked him as my boss and as a person.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Ferguson's passing. Dear David, Peter, and Russell, my prayers are with you all. Mr. Ferguson use to drive me to Greenhills school in his power blue '67 volvo. What wonderful times those were. May God richly bless you all. Rob Ponitz
