Dr. Ferrin treated 4 generations of my family. Weekends, nights, house-calls, he never failed us. He took his oath seriously and always with a little humor. He once spent an entire Saturday afternoon saving my left hand, after I had a mindless accident. He was the best of a very good generation.

When I moved to Austin, it took me several years and several Dr. to find the right one- Dr. Ferrin. He was truely the most wonderful Dr. I have ever had!
I'm sure he's up in Heaven smiling down at all of us! He will be greatly missed!

What a blessing to work for this beloved physician. He would just keep us laughing and smiling even though the days were long. He never turned anyone away and worked late every week night (except Wednesday) and also Saturdays seeing patients. He was the best diagnostician. Most of this came from asking the right questions and listening to the answers. Imagine a physician who listened, but that he did. He told me once that if people could learn to count their blessings he would be out of...

I, too, grew up with Dr. Ferrin, and he saw me through childhood sprains, or another time came to the hospital at 2am, even though there was no need, but he wanted to be certain. He never rushed a patient out of his exam room, and all were happy to wait (well, almost all, maybe). They don't make em like that much anymore.

Dr. Ferrin was a great doctor and good friend. When I met him for the first time ,he was so nice and polite and cheerful.I Think of all the times I was sick no appointment, he would allways work me in.I was really sorry when he retired ,it was hard to find another Dr. like Dr Ferrin. I am sorry to hear about his passing. I would like to extend my condolences to Dr Ferrin family and friends

On behalf of our Mother, (Barbara Moss)
deceased in 2005... I know she would want to express her deepest sympathies to the family of our sweet Dr. Ferrin.
She thought the world of him as do all of us in the Moss family. He took care of us from the time we were babies throughout all our growing up years, and ALWAYS made us feel better just seeing him walk in the exam room. We always looked up to him and respected him. He was not only our Doctor... he was our friend. On behalf of our...
