It is amazing how one person ... one family can touch so many lives. Thank you, Charlie, for making all our lives a little better.

WE ENJOYED THE FIELDS FAMILY AND THERE MUSIC...THE FIELDS FAMILY WILL ALWAYS BE IN OUR HEARTS AND PRAYERS...BUSTER AND RUTH

Charlie will be missed. We lived in Shadow lake in the early 70's and learned to love the entire family. They have been to Logan on several occasions to sing at our church as the Singing Fields Family and was truly loved by our whole church. Charles you will be missed. condolences to the family. Love Patsy

My condolences to the family. Like one of the other entries, I lived at Shadow Lake, actually, it has been 36 years ago. I lived there for 5+ years and it was a wonderful place to grow up and I'm sure it had a lot to do with Mr. Fields making it a nice place to live. I also remember Mrs. Fields and her Christian goodness helping my mother (Violet Yates) during her sickness. I'm sure her faith will be with her though this.

We sure are going to miss Charlie around here. We moved to Shadow Lake Park, Mason, OH in 1966 and lived there until !986. They were responsible for getting us into church at First Baptist, South Lebanon, OH. They were there for me when my Mother and Dad passed away.
They have always been like family to us and we have done a lot of pickin' and grinnin' at their house.
We know Charlie is in a much better home now and we will miss him.
Our sympathy goes out to all the...

I was sad to read of the passing of Charlie Fields yesterday.
I lived at Shadow Lake with my two sons for a number of years and always felt Charlie and Emily and their entire family were a classy Christian family.
They were our friends and I will never forget them.
My sons Brian and Bruce and I will always remember Charlie and the entire Fields family in our thoughts and prayers.
