Fair Winds and Following Seas, Shipmate. Your watch is over, rest in peace.

Charlie defended his country, served his community, loved his God and family and fully enjoyed the people he met and the places he visited in his endless pursuit of a new experience. RIP Charlie. Truly a life well lived.

so sorry for your loss. what a man, what a life. we only knew him as a regular ray of sunshine in the neighborhood, but we´ve learned so much more! he touched so many. fairfield´s bravest!

Chris and Family, So sorry for your loss. Your Dad lived an amazing life. May he rest in peace. Love, Mary and Mike Wickun

God bless Charlie! A friend to all. Had many good (and bad) conversations on the NY Giants. Loved hearing his stories of hanging out with Sam Huff, Andy Robustelli and Frank Gifford at the old Surfside. Charlie was great with the kids as well. Jumping in a game of running bases or a touch football game after watching the Giants on a fall Sunday afternoon on Catherine Terrace. May you rest in peace, Charlie.

Chris and girls, take comfort in knowing all the good he did for the community and its people. He was a true gentleman and friend.

Mrs. Filep, Chris and Ruth, May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. May all those memories give you peace and comfort. With love and peace, Gail
