FITZGERALD - Charles Robert Jr. December 23, 2012, beloved husband of Barbara J. Fitzgerald; devoted father of Charles R. III and Kathleen Fitzgerald; loving son of the late Charles and Mary Fitzgerald; beloved brother of Michael (Barbara), Maureen Fitzgerald and the late Kathleen Stewart; uncle of many nieces and nephews and cousin to many. The family will receive friends at the C. MERTZ & SON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 911 Englewood Ave. on Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9 AM and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Baptist Church (1085 Englewood Ave.) at 9:30 AM. Charles was a past president of the St. John the Baptist Holy Name Society. Barb and Family I am so sorry for your loss. I apologize I wasn't there for him. As my Baseball Coach and longtime friend he taught me things in life not only baseball.
