Charles W. Flagg

My deepest sympathies to Charlie's family and friends!

Charlie Flagg was a dear friend and mentor of mine and his influences on my life continue to this day. He was a man of strong character, deep convictions and a soft heart.

I first met Charlie when he was an instructor at the Rhode Island School of Photography in Cranston, Rhode Island. While he was a wonderful photographer, I really think teaching brought Charlie a great deal of joy...he was so good at it!...

It was my pleasure to know Charles in conversations and e-mails over the past year. He was generous with his limited energy and time as he struggled with health problems and I tried to support him in my nurse care manager role. His spirit was strong even if his physical strength faltered. He kept his focus on making it back to his life, his family and community, his work. There was purpose in his life and generosity in his spirit. My sincere sympathy to his loved ones for your loss.
