Not sure what to say?

I first met Jim after the merger of Wien and Northern Consolidated in 1968. Our paths never crossed again after the airline went out of business in 1984. He was among the best of the many pilots who served the people of Alaska with distinction and safety. He was admired by all that knew him for his humor and sense of duty. He has flown a good flight and I wish him well on his final flight West.

Chris, Lorry & Charlie,, So sorry to hear about your dads passing. He lived a very long and fulfilling life and you all had many years to spend with him and can always be grateful for that time. We are thinking of you guys and your mom at this very sad time, John and Vicki

I am Jerry Chastine son of Rosemary Chastine she was Bills half sister. Please accept moms and the rest of the families condolences to your family. Growing up we heard the stories of the bush pilot in the family. It sounds as if Charles lived life to its fullest. Bless y'all.

Our warmest condolences to you and your family. I remember many fun trips up the Goodpaster; our father, Emmett Johnston, recently passed as well. I'd like to believe they are out there sharing a toast or two with the rest of the Goodpaster pioneers. Warmest thoughts,

Charmaine, Corie, Renee and Tamara Johnston.

Lorry and Rick,
So sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. Share and celebrate the memories you have. He will always be with you in your heart and memories.
Sincerely,
Gary Bullock, AFD retired

Lorry
So sorry to hear of your dads passing. I know this will be a difficult time for you and your family, and I hope all the loving memories of your good life together will help ease the pain. We live in Arizona now, so I do not know if your Mom is still alive, but if so let her know I was thinking about her. Again all my sympathy
