Not sure what to say?

Thinking of you today, Dad. I remember your sacrifice

On this Memorial Day I was fortunate enough to visit the gravesite of my CPL Gaffney. Although I did not know him well I did serve in 2-506 and unfortunately there on 24 Dec 2008. I want the family to know that you have been in my thoughts and prayers for years. Especially the two young girls that lost their father, I think of you all the time. Your Dad was a American hero and he will be missed greatly. May God bless you all.

Thinking of you always. I miss you brother......

Miss you Charles. Rest in peace.

To the family of Charles Gaffney, please be aware that there are people such as myself that did not know Charles, but remain grateful for his service and sacrifice.
