Charles "Dickie" Lewis Gallihugh Charles "Dickie" Lewis Gallihugh, 70, of Culpeper, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2013, in Culpeper Health and Rehab. He was born on June 9, 1943, in Madison, and was the son of the late Rufus Lewis Gallihugh and Virgie Seale Gallihugh. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael Gallihugh; two sisters, Betty Ruth Gallihugh and Betty Jean Gallihugh. Mr. Gallihugh was a retired farmer. He is survived by a daughter, Peggy Sue Gallihugh of Rappahannock; two brothers, Richard Gallihugh and wife, Peggy Ann, of Castleton, Virginia, and Roger Gallihugh and wife, Gerry, of Haywood; eight sisters, Mary Nicholson of Castleton, Joyce Cave and husband, Leonard, of Shelby, Phyllis Jenkins of Washington, Virginia, Jean Nicholson and husband, Bobby, of Reva, Anna Cave and husband, Dewey, of Syria, Betty Ayes of Orange, Brenda Gallihugh of Rappahannock, and Becky Mize and husband, Larry, of Lexington, North Carolina; and a number of nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, September 1, 2013, at Etlan Cemetery conducted by Pastor Wayne Yowell. Preddy Funeral Home in Madison, is in charge of arrangements.
