ONE OF THE BEST

tremendous,,,,,,,,,,,,,friend i was at BOSTON ENGLISH HS WITH ED BURLEY AND KEITH PARKER............CHARLIE........R I P

Very gentle and humble man, a big part of my life, more than a coach. He shared with me some real real valuable life lessons that have been important even now in my life thank you coach love you forever

My name is Barry Gordon and I played for Coach Gallivan at Hyde Park High from 1979 to 1980. He was the best coach I ever had. He has impacted my life to this day. My sincere condolences go out to his family.

Maureen and family,,, Preyers for the whole Gallivan family. It was an honor to work on and off with Charlie in regaining strength and mobility over the past years. He had a great wit and sense of humor! He busted on me about being mean Janine but always gave his best,
The greatest part of my mornings with Charlie was hearing about each and everyone of his family.... it was evident on how much his family meant to him. His love for family and family gatherings was great!
Charlie, you...

Charlie was my CYO baseball coach @ St. Angela's in Mattapan. Contrary to his obituary, he was the best baseball coach I ever had. He also taught with my cousin, Anne Marie Cussen @ Hull High School in the late fifties. He was the best.
Rest in Peace, Coach.

Dear Maureen and family,

So sorry to hear that Charlie has passed away. I send my prayers and deepest sympathy to you all.
God Bless you all. Sorry I am not able to be with you.
Best wishes,
Catherine (Kay) Horan O'Connor

To the Gallivan Family,

I am sorry to hear about your loss. Have very fond memories of Mr Bambi. Lots of summers spent with your family at the cottages. Some of the best summers a child could have. Lots of kids, lots of laughs, very late nights spent outside. Always something going on. My thought and prayers are with you. Linda Leary Merrill
