I was fortunate to work with Charlie multiple times over the years. He was considerate of everyone and was a true visionary who was always deeply thoughtful and engaged in technical discussions. He served as an inspiration to all. Sending heartfelt condolences to his family.

I was fortunate enough to work with Mr. Gandy for a number of years. He was a wonderful, kind, engaging person with more than one entertaining story to tell. Always looking to solve some engineering problem. He was a pleasure to work with.

I want to pass my condolences to Charlie's family and friends upon his death. Charlie was a great person, always friendly and had nothing but kind words to say about everyone. He will be missed by all of us, and at least, we will all have very fond memories of him.

The Gandys and my parents (Bill and Elizabeth Wesley) were sailing friends. Together, they and others, made several sailing trips all over the Chesapeake Bay, Florida and to the Bahamas. Both Charles and Freda were wonderful people, always treating everyone they met with grace and kindness. Our thoughts and prayers are with family during this tough time.
