Not sure what to say?

To Chuck

A modest man. That old "Beamer" never replaced. Eyes brightly smiled in unison with his lips. Laughter was always deep and sincere. The smell of tobacco soothing to my nostrils ingrained into his walls. That old furniture taking you back to a time. What a unique amazing guy.

I will miss Chuck greatly as he was the closest thing I had to family in the bay area. He was always willing to help out his friends, and gave great advice. He will not soon be forgotten.

Charles was a dear friend and part of our family. He was the Best Man at our wedding in 1980 and participated in most of our family occasions throughout the years. We spent time with him every time we were in the Bay Area and spoke with him early in January. He will be greatly missed. Our hearts go out to his family.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Chuck and my sincerest sympathy goes out to his family at this time. Know that Chuck's passing has not been overlooked and that he had many friends that he knew only online and had never met face to face. I met Chuck in 1998 online and we had been friends ever since. We played cards in our "little group" over the years mostly on Saturday nights late into the evening and early morning. We didn't just play games, we shared our thoughts,...

Chuck will be deeply missed by myself and others who knew him in the Zone card rooms. He was inteligent and amusing always. What a wonderful card player, and always a gentleman. We lost a good one.

Dear Paula,
I extend my deepest sympathy for the loss of your son. I enjoyed meeting Charles in Richland some years ago and exchanging pleasantries. He was a very intelligent and personable man. Please know you continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

I was deeply saddened upon hearing of Chuck's untimely death. He was my debate partner in college in the 1960s, and we were on the same bowling team while at Penn State. We stayed in contact over the years, and visited on a few occasions once we both settled in California. I last saw him at a brunch held in Pacific Grove, CA by the Silicon Valley Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association a few years back. I will miss him, but know he has won his last debate tournament here on earth as he...
