Not sure what to say?

Chuck was one of a kind and one of the best. Remembering him from JEB Stuart and NC State very fondly - always upbeat and smiling. He once bicycled from Raleigh to Wrightsville Beach (over 130 miles in a day) where we met up and spent a uproarious weekend. The only time I ever saw Chuck tired was at the end of that ride, but he recovered quickly. He was tireless, upbeat and relentlessly good natured! He will be missed greatly. My condolences to his family.

Chuck,
You were a high school friend and such a great guy. Your smile was amazing and you kindness was too. It sounds like you touched many people with your life and that doesn't surprise me. You will be missed good friend.

Chuck, I miss you but am sure you are in heaven and will catch up with you there.
You were my high school prom date and ventured to ride horses with me when young. I was so happy to have known you, a wonderful and honorable guy xo

Heaven look out! This guy has one of the purest hearts you'll ever see!! All my highschool memories of you make me smile ...

He was always such a sweet kid in high school. I sat with him at our 20th reunion and he shared some of his life stories. Chuck was a man who was happy with his life. The universe will miss him.

Chuck, ever the smiler. Such a warm, genuine person. Your frienship was a gift to many. So glad I was fortunate enough to have spent time with you growing up into the wonderful man you became. Sleep sweet!

Happy Easter my beloved brother. Thinking about you daily and missing you so much.

So long for now Chuck… What a great guy you are. I will always remember you coming down the slopes at Whistler, British Columbia in 1994. And ice skating on New Years Eve at the sculpture garden in downtown, D.C. Thanks for all the laughs over the years. We will miss you.

My sincerest condolences to the family of a great person, may he rest in peace.
