Memories are made of times we treasure.
The times you came to Farmington to go hunting & fishing with my Dad and Mike.
The times you made us laugh when dad would tell the story of you making all the noise when you got into the aluminum boat, and Dad said "might as well leave, we won't catch any fish here now."
The times you and Mike would laugh when there was fish or game to be cleaned and my Dad would say "I'll go get us some beer," knowing you guys would have it done by the time he returned.
The times you came out and we went to Canton to practice the drivers test route before taking your drivers exam.
So little space for all the family memories that I cherish.
Rest in peace Uncle Charlie, and know that I will miss that Gasparovich grin you had for us everyday when we visited you just down the road at FCM.
P.S. Tell Mom and Dad I miss them.

Memories so many where does one begin? Wading in creeks for bait, sitting in boat all night on the Spoon River, sitting around the camp fire or just remembering the sounds of beagles chasing that rabbit. Memories or was it drinking that cup of coffee whether at home or at Farmington Country Manor and telling those stories over and over because we loved those times so much. Memories that I will miss but never forget because they are in my heart forever. Rest In Peace old friend until we can do it all over again.

It was a complete privilege living across the street from Charlie for 46 years. He was a true gentleman and I enjoyed listening to his war and work stories. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Rest In Peace my friend. Michael and Ann Baschieri

I remember Charlie from his days working at Armour's Meat where he was a department Forman as was my Dad, Ray Rekus, who passed away in 1971. Charlie was a good man and pleasant to be around.
God's blessings to his family.
P.S. Those cinnamon rolls at Jumer's were the best ever!!
