Charles C. Gates Jr.

During WWII, Charles and June lived across the street from my family in BR,LA. They were newly married.
He was learning the rubber business. I was 8or9, Charles was in his young to mid 20's. My father grew up in Pueblo, so we went to Colorado on vacation a few
times. One year in the mid 1950's we visited the beautiful home of the Gates family. It certainly impressed this teenager.

I did not know the man but I appreciate the fine products that was initated by him and his family. Any repairs I had for rubber products I always insisted on Gates as they were of the best quality for reliability. May the Lord bless his family.

My Family will keep Mr Gates in our prayers and to be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD. All prayeres and Love to the family.
