Not sure what to say?

Kelly, Vanessa and Charlene, I extend my deepest sympathy to all of you. I was a student of GGM Gaylord in the 70's and received my black belt at the Fremont studio. I hitched a ride to Kajukenbo classes with your Mother and the three of you several times per week while growing up (at least until I got my drivers license). These were great memories and your Father had a huge impact on the course of my life. Looking back it was a special time of my life. I hope as time has passed, that grief...

Many years ago I Harry Williams was a student at the Fremont dojo at age of - 12 and my friend Paul foley we are now 60 years old now I remember a pray we did before we started our lessons : dear lord be beside us as we undertake these exercises sole perpose to develope our body an protect one an others to be morally straight n strong

I don't have any personal stories with GGM Gaylord, but I do know that if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have found Kaju when I was 7 years old and I wouldn't have the family friends I have today.

I am thankful for his life and the profound impact he's had on me. And I believe he's given us the familial strength to move forward as one and to share the love and strength that he has shown us.

You were a great man, GGM Gaylord, and your presence has not yet left our family.

I will miss him very much. He was so wonderful. He taught me so much about the Art and life-long lessons I will cherish forever. I will always remember his hugs and kisses.

Well, I've had three best friends in my life...Cliff (still around!), my dad Gene and GGM Gaylord, now both gone.
I met GGMG about 30 years ago at my instructor's (GM James Juarez) school in San Leandro. Little did I know that years later we would travel together to places like Idaho, Texas and places in California to do seminars...let alone all the way to Portugal and Spain!!! He was always fun to travel with, and we shared many great times. We both decided on the way home from Spain...

Dear Family Members,

Our hearts go out to you at this time and in the days ahead. We are so so sorry for your loss.

Kahuna Gaylord and and you, his warm-hearted family, have touched our lives and hearts forever!

Love,

Davina and Professor James Williams

Dear Kelly, Vanessa and Charlene,

My heartfelt condolences go out to each of you and your family members. I know that he loved you all very much!!

Your dad has made a huge impact on many people's lives. I am blessed to have been one of his Kajukenbo Association of America "Gaylord Method" black belts and friend. He will truly be missed. There will not be a single day where I do not think about your dad. Thank you for sharing him with me and the other KAA black...

My two sons got their black belts under GGM.He was a legend in his own time. He will not be forgotten and his art will live on in my sons. Thank you and his memory will be part of us till the end.

Please accept our heartfelt condolences for your loss and may the Lord be a great source of comfort to you in this your time of your grief.
