To the Family of Chuck,
I am deeply sorry for your loss. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to meet and spend time with Chuck, he was a great guy and always challenged me to learn more. Our trivia group misses him terribly and I miss hearing "That is your homework for tonight!" May you find comfort in the fact that him and Mitzi are together again.

My sympathy to the friends and family of Chuck. Hearing about his passing in the same month as Mal Schulze makes me think that we are truly losing a generation of activists who dedicated their personal time for the greater good of the community in which they lived. While Mal and Chuck disagreed on many issues, they could still remain friends. God bless you, Chuck, say 'Hi' to Mal for me.

A few years later I became a police officer in Wellesley and Charlie was one of the first to congratulate and support me in that endeavor. We never kept in touch after he left the pharmacy, but when I saw his name in today's paper, it brought back...
