Send FlowersGIBSON, Charles Entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 13, 2005, Mr. Charles MacDonald Gibson, 73, an attorney and former state legislator. The relatives and friends of Mr. Charles MacDonald Gibson Are invited to attend his Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM. Saturday, October 22, 2005, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Yonges Island. Private Burial will be at St. Lawrence Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening, October 21, 2005, between 6:00 and 8:00 PM at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home 1620 Savannah Hwy. Please make memorial contributions to either St. Mary's Catholic Church, 4255 Hwy. 165, Yonges Island, SC 29449 or to The American Diabetes Association, 2711 Middleburg Dr. Columbia, SC 29204. Mr. Gibson is survived by six children Elizabeth Gibson Quackenbush of Columbia, SC, C. "Mac" Gibson, Jr. and Anne Gibson Hutto of Charleston, Thomas Ellis Gibson of San Antonio TX, James Mauldin Gibson of Charleston, Matthew Sweegan Gibson of Charlottesville, VA. and twelve grandchildren. USC studying journalism Mac was
kind and helpful when I covered
