I was saddened to learn of the passing of my dear friend. I wish I could have been there to send him off but I am ill. For over 40 years I referred all of my criminal casesto Merle. He never let us down. More importantly, he helped members of my extended family with some personal problems. He refused to accept any payment for his help.
