Charles Anthony Gordon

I remember Tony enjoying making music with friends-with his violin, or fiddle-as the case may be. It was a great joy for him and we shared such moments many years ago in Princeton and also on occasion in Ireland. The music will linger on, as will the memories. Our deepest sympathy to Anne at this difficult and lonely time. Our thoughts are with you.

Tony was a good, interesting, funny, and wonderful colleague. I really enjoyed playing Irish music with him I will miss him terribly especially on snowy days like yesterday. He would have loved debating the forecasts and the ultimate outcome of heavy snow. I can hear him arguing with me about my measurement right now.
