Not sure what to say?

What a sweet man. My friend and I spent the day fishing with him about 4 years ago. She is from Texas and I am from Kentucky. What stories he had to tell. We had such a great time, and he was much of the reason why. He asked for our addresses and said he wanted to mail us 4-leaf clovers. Sure enough, a few weeks later we both received them in the mail. Just a really nice man, I'm sure he is missed by many.

I was privilege to meet this wonderful gentleman while walking my beautiful golden Soni at a park in Santa Cruz! He was with his daughter who was also walking her golden retriever... this gentleman was so kind and caring I felt like knew him for years not minutes! I had just moved here from tx ..after a short walk with our goldens he told me to look up his name ! On my drive back to Sacramento I looked it up and was star struck! Wish I would of got his autograph... he was so humble and kind...

I had the great privilege of calling Doug a good friend and would see him often during his daily (and brisk) morning walks through the golf course (where he still holds honors for a hole-in-one). I'll never forget how appreciative he was for me helping me construct the mobile home parks artificial putting green or planting his beloved Pineapple Guava shrub. His kind words, persistent smile, and graciousness will not soon be forgotten. Rest in Peace Turkey Egg Greer!

I will miss you buddy. Such a classy man. Such a huge heart. Such a great martini drinker. I will miss your quips. "One martini. Two at the very most. Three I'm under the table. Four I'm under the host." Or "Ambrosia". Nobody sang in Tagalog so beautifully. I married your granddaughter because of her beautiful heart little did I know it was genetic. You will be forever in my heart and your wisdom forever missed.
