Not sure what to say?

The memories I have of Grubby will never be taken away....

John Wolfinger and wife Peggy("Pickets")

Cheryl and family,
I will miss the phone calls from Grubby - what's cookin at Lehigh? Is the football team gonna be any good? Who do we wrestle next? I have many wonderful memories of time spent traveling to football games an NCAA wrestling -win or lose he was a proud Lehigh man! I learned alot during those Lehigh trips and I will never forget the smiling grin of our favorite alum, Charley! May your many thoughts and memories of wonderful times spent with your Dad comfort you in the days...

I have fond memories of visitng "Uncle Grubby" in his office by the Susquehanna river in Harrisburg- almost always on a cold January day on the way to the farm show. My wife Ann and I appreciate the long drive he made from Harrisburg to our wedding in Cape May. Cheryl and all of the Grubmeyer clan are in our thoughts and...

We all miss Grubby but will always have memories of his humor; his love of family; Lehigh - football, Sigma Chi, wrestling; golf; friends; looking out over the river; ... and so many more. We can cherish these memories forever.

I along with many others am lucky to have had him as a part of my life for so many years and we should all celebrate a life well lived.

Cheryl and family-

Your dad was a wonderful man and I loved him dearly. I remember stopping by his office and as soon as I'd start to leave he'd say " Stay for lunch " and then proceed to buy Wendy's. Even after I got married and moved to California, we remained in contact through phone conversations and talked to each other every few months. I will miss him. He was definitely one of a kind.
