I flew out to my grandfather's funeral in 1983 with admiral gurney onboard desert duck airlines. I was so scared flying next to a real admiral. I admired him so much. I enjoyed that flight like no other. I talked to him. He was a nice man. Thank you for your service sir. Rip

I will never forget commander gurney ,I served with him in Vietnam 1970 ,I was a seaman then.he was a great man .I´m 71 now ,see you soon commander,.Rest in peace,.seaman Sizemore,from wva.
