Not sure what to say?

Never having the pleasure of meeting him, I, as a life long pilot adopted him as mentor(I was 83 then) I gathered memorabilia at his estate Sale to donate to March AFB museum. I picked March AFB because I had previously donated my plane to them. (MiG-15) His mahogany B 17 and book reside in my family room. And other memorabilia of his will be at Marana airport where I´m flying these days. (Ryan Navion picture with him) Thank you "Col Chuck" for your inspiration Jesse Siglow

Chuck " Yick " , will be missed by Me and Mine as a wonderful Man who was never short of positive words and actions. He loved his military family And friends at the local airport . Hope you made it to Arlington Sir, as you wished. Be sure to pay Dad back with a Bucket full up there in heaven. Tim Wegrzynek/ Winners.

So very glad I was able to sit and visit before Chuck took his final flight. Chuck was a class act from beginning to end. Thank you for all of the stories and memories. Say hi to the boys for me, including the Pilot in the other seat !

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, the staff and volunteers of the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force, we would like to extend our deepest condolences for your loss. Please know the passing of your loved one is felt by all those who honor the Greatest Generation and their sacrifices.

My deepest sympathy to the family. Col. Chuck was such an inspiration. Such fun to be around. We shared uncanny synchronicity in our lives.

We will miss the good times we had at La Cholla Airpark. See you in heaven some day Ron
