Not sure what to say?

I was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Loudonville, Ohio where Rev Charles L Hale taught the life of Jesus Christ. I am really distraught over seeing Rev Hale's obituary. He has been gone for over 12 years now and I'm sorry for not keeping in touch with him. But I know I will see him again when Jesus comes back for me.

Every day, we appreciate what you did to create The Pillars of Plainfield B&B, a great achievement. Thank you for the many ways that you supported Plainfield, and for your support for us when we first took over The Pillars. Tom, we send our heart-felt condolensces to you.

Rest in peace Chuck. You were so helpful to me when I worked on my B&B project. I have great memories of Van Wyck Brooks events at the Pillars. You and Tom where great hosts and a wonderful asset to the community. By creating the Pillars, you blazed a new trail in Plainfield, and created a successful business. My thoughts and best wishes to Tom and Chuck's family.

Chuck's sermons were always meaningful and inspiring. I looked forward to hearing his message whenever he substituted for a vacationing pastor. Pat Fleming

Be at peace Rev. Hale. May memories of you continue to inspire and guide.

Chuck shared his sound advice and life experience with me and many others at MenMentoringMen.org. I particularly appreciate his wisdom on preparing for the future and still being open to changes and opportunties. We will miss your sage advice, your laughter and we'll be there to support Tom as well.

Chuck was a wonderful friend and a great host. His contributions to Plainfield and its Van Wyck Brooks Historic District are too numerous to mention. Our condolences and best wishes to Tom.

Will miss you - my friend Chuck. Thanks for the contributions you made to Plainfield, Van Wyck Brooks Historic District and my life.
