From growing up in the Noank, Vic was a schoolmate and fellow trumpeter. Vic was also a founding member of the Noank Fire Department's youth organization back in the 1950's. I recall exchanging letters with him when he was doing lighthouse duty in Alaska while I was in the US Army stationed in Germany. I will always remember Vic as a friend. I offer my sincere condolences to the Halligan Family.
