Not sure what to say?

Dear Father Charles,
My memories of Roselle Catholic High School are strongly influenced by the experiences you created for the students. You were both my religion and psychology teacher. To this day I still reference the book “I'm Ok, You're OK. I first learned to ski at the Marist home in Okemo, VT and cannot forget the winters playing ice hockey in Montreal. Your support of the religious retreats in Belmar, NJ helped direct my spirituality. I am eternally grateful for the experiences...

I have only positive memories from my time with Bro Chuck at RC - Latin, Track & more. A great man and positive influence.

I remember Brother Charles from my days at Roselle Catholic. He was a good guy. Had the pleasure of seeing him years later as the priest who said the mass at my brother's wedding. He was truly a man of great faith. God bless you Chuck.

Brother Charles, way back when was my Freshman Latin teacher and Cross Country coach at RC. My father passed away during my freshman year and Br. Charles was always a comfort and guide for me. We will all miss you Fr. Chuck.

Fr. Chuck's singing of the "Our Father", his vivid and relevant description of the Last Supper and Crucifixion during a CYO meeting, his compassion during a particularly difficult moment of teen angst, choosing me for and welcoming me to ARK'87, giving me a set of peers who helped me grow and find joy in service, these and so many more are the memories I carry with me today. I am saddened by our loss even as I know how much Heaven has gained. Thank you, Fr. Charles. You will be missed.

Father Chuck baptized me and I am eternally grateful for him bringing me home. Godspeed dear Father, Rest in Peace

I knew Father Chuck since he was Brother Chuck. My husband & I and our family were blessed by his dear friendship for many years, working with him at Crossroads, Search and CYO. Rest well, dear friend.

I often felt God speaking to me through your homilies... Especially during troublesome times. May you rest in Heaven throughout eternity. You will be greatly missed...

I remember Brother Chuck (then at RCHS) leading the student band at masses in the gym. I remember him rooting for me when I hit a home run in the Union Couty HS baseball tournament against St Mary's. I'm sure he's leading a band of angelic musicians in heaven and rooting for his all-time great sports heroes who have passed on. He definitely made a lasting impression on me and was part of many special moments at RCHS. I will miss you Fr Chuck!
