Not sure what to say?

I remember when Charles had to deliver the game jerseys to Jonesville when we were in Junior High School....

Rest in loving memory Charles as we remember all the great times we had

Charlie was a very good friend to me. My daughter Naomi and Sara were great pals when Charlie lived in Atlantic Beach. FL. He was my go to as a Brownie troop member. Live you buddy

Sara,

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May the Lord bless you and keep you.

Oscar,
It's hard for me to express the sorrow and sadness, I am feeling now.
I have many fond memories of the things we all did and the major part Charles played in them.
God bless you all and give you strength in this very sad time

Charles holds a very special place in my life. He made a man out of me, and taught me to stand up for myself. That was way back in High School and I've never forgotten his advice.
Oscar, Mrs. Hartman, you both know how dear you are to me. Charles will be missed more than you or he could ever know.

I was saddened to hear of Charles' passing at such a young age. I lived directly across the street from him and his family in Natchez, MS for about six years. I remember him very well: friendly, down-to-earth, athletic. Altho' I have not seen him since I left Natchez in 1970, he was one of 'the good guys,'and I'll always remember our pickup baseball games, 'dodgeball' in his or someone else's backyard, the open door policy of his parents to us teens growing up. He'll be missed by those...

Charlie will be missed by all who knew him. We both enjoyed diving together.
