HASKINS, Charles R., 77, of Chesterfield, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 28, 2011. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Alma Mae Haskins; daughters, Starlett M. Pierotti (Patrick), Tammy Dawn Williams (David Jr.); sisters, Juanita Holybee, Beverly Durham; grandchildren, Heather Marie Roberts (Joshua Sr.), Christopher Daniel Yeratt (Angela); great-grandchildren, Blake Nathaniel Yeratt, Joshua Tony Roberts Jr. and Skyanna Leigh Roberts. Mr. Haskins was a U.S. Navy and Army veteran. The family will receive friends 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, January 2, 2012 at the Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rte. 10), with his funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. Interment with military honors will be held privately at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia. The family requests no flowers. Memorials may be made to Southside Church of the Nazarene, Building Fund, 6851 Courthouse Rd., Chesterfield, Va. 23832.
