My sister in law lives in Pensacola and told me of Wendell's passing. You may not remember me, but when Wendell was a baby, my baby daughter and I visited you because I too was the mother of a precious Down Syndrome daughter, Kimberly Peters. She was a year older than Wendell. We know from experience the many blessings you received from Wendell and the wonderful memories you will always cherish. Kimberly passed away due to her severe heart problem eight years ago...

Wendell, we love you so much...You were a blessing and taught us so many things in life such as patience, tolerance, and acceptance...I could write a book with the stories and life's lessons...You enjoyed the little things in life like riding in the car for Wendy's Frosty during the 30yrs of your life.
