Not sure what to say?

One of my first memories of Uncle Charlie was when he and Nannette were first married. I would "runaway" and go down to their house all the time(everyday as I can remember)I felt as if I "belonged" there.I recall being there when he came home from work one day and he had brought"ME"a card and a bag of candy. He had me wrapped from that moment on.Of course by the end of the day Daddy would always call and say"Charlie"send her home,in which he lovingly did and said"I will see you tomorrow"...

During the first few years of Charlie & my Mom's marriage, I introduced him as my stepdad. As any young kid, I wasn't sure what to think of this new man in our lives. As the years went by I began to love & respect him more. Especially the way he provided for my family and my mom. But, in the last few years is when I finally realized what a great friend Charlie was to me. We got to spend a lot of time together the last few years, and that's when he went from stepfather to dad and friend. We...

Jeanne,
The service on Saturday left Wes and I in awe of Charlie. We were both inspired by his life and how he affected those he was around. It was obvious that he has touched hundreds of people with his presence here on earth. Now he is in the presence of our SAVIOR. I know that he is greatly missed by all who knew him.
Our love and prayers are with you...

I had the honor of calling Charlie "My Dad" for 25 years. I have so many things I can give him credit for in my life I couldn't possibly begin to list them all. He was a man that taught me dignity, class, respect and most of all how a man can serve his Lord and Savior in his everday walk. He was never ashamed to share his belief and love for Jesus Christ. I can never recall a time he ever raised his voice to me, not to say he never corrected me, however he always did it in love. He was a...

I was Judge Hearn's probation officer for many years. He will always be a very special person in my heart. I did not appreciate the depth of his love for the Lord until I began my walk. His words and prayers continue to be an inspiration to all who knew him. I was very proud to witness on his behalf this past Sunday. Many great people leave many legacies, but not many will be remembered for using their faith as a guide in their personal and professional life. What a great tribute to a great man!

It was both a pleasure to work with Judge Hearn the past couple of years. He was a good man and a good friend.
We will miss him.

Jeanette,

Iwas so sorry to hear of John's passing but have no doubt that he is in the same place that Bernie is. He really helped us with a diffucult situation while we were at Evangelistic Temple. May God bless you. I know it is a difficult time for you and will keep you in my prayers.
With Love, Vivian

I had the honor and privilege to have known Judge Hearn. He was the first judge that I had ever met and was fortunate to be trained in his court when I started working for the District Clerk's office in January of 1979. I was in awe of him!!! Judge Hearn was the epitome of class. Always a kind word to anyone he met, even the inmates. Even after I left his court, he continued to be a good friend, always stopping just to say hello, to give a hug and always had comforting words.
