He was a great guy. I used to love to read him when I was a kid growing up as a sports fan in Cleveland. Seeing his PD column photo recently gave me a jolt as I was transported back to my youth. We met in 1982 through business dealings--(I met Chuck only once)--and, as time has proven---we are forever friends!
