If every Leader in the world was like him our world be a joy to live in. He gave respect and appreciation to all at DTE. He knew everyone's name and participated in our sports program and special events. He made me feel important and special. I will always remember him.

I will always remember Chuck as my special mentor at DTE. I worked with him, mostly for him, for nearly twenty years and never had a better boss and friend. Jean and I along with many special friends spent many evenings with Jean playing the piano and all of us singing our favorite songs from memory and from the All American Song Book. Both of them were so special to us. RIP good friend.

Mr.Heidel was one of the sweetest, kindest gentlemen. I worked at DTE and would work in the 24th floor offices occasionally. He didn't care if you were a low level employe or high executive, he was always kind. Such a good looking, gentle man. RIP Mr. Heidel. You are certainly in heaven with your dear wife. God bless you!
