i have so many memories of my uncle chip he had a great sense of humor and he would do everything with us. he was a great uncle all around. even though i live in arizona i felt really close to him. i am just sad that i didnt get to say goodbye. him laughing with us joking with us and everything he did with us, those are going to be the things that i remember about my uncle. All though he is gone the memories i have of him will last forever. i love u uncle chip and the rest of my family.

Thoughts and prayers go out to each of you as I've just learned of Chip's passing.Through the years there has been many memories of our families. Several of Chip as a child when he would be in attendance with us on family camping trips. Not seeing him in years until the wake of Mrs. Heidman Chip still had that great smile and love for life. The way he spoke of his children was truly a reward as you could see it in his eyes.

Dear Dick:

I was out of town this week and apologize for not being able to be at the calling hours for Chip. I am so sorry that he passed away.

It is very difficult losing a child and my prayers are with you. I pray that God grants you the strength to endure such a loss. You are special to a multitude of people and all of us are here to help you wherever we can.

Chip was smart. I enjoyed and listened carefully to his political advice. I was shocked and saddened to learn of his passing. I will miss him as a friend and advisor.
