Not sure what to say?

Chuck was one of the finest people I've ever known. My husband, Ron Wimmer, worked with him at Oneac before being diagnosed with brain cancer in 2007. Chuck stayed in touch with me over the years, and I always enjoyed our conversations. I rejoice that he is no longer a prisoner of disease. My very warmest wishes to family and friends. A wonderful man has gone on to his next adventure. Carole Wimmer

Sad to hear of Chuck's passing. What a sweet guy. He and I took a bike ride together, kinda an "arranged play date" set-up by our Local Bike Shop, a few years back on trails and roads though the suburbs. It was on one of his routes. Definitely outside my routes and pace. But it's funny, even now when I'm out driving and I pass by one of those trails, whether it's on an Interstate or a State highway I think of that day and that ride. I'm sorry we've taken our last ride together and I prolly...

I will always cherish cousin Chucks visits with my daughters and I in Cali. Chuck, you were a gentleman, kind and sincere, and a wonderful person. May you rest in peace my friend.

I remember, this had to be back in `78. He came into a bar where I was working, and I didn´t recognize him at first, and he made me laugh. This bar had a mechanical bull, and Chuck signed up to ride it. " I am not afraid to make a fool of myself in front of anyone!" was his comment. He always had a slightly off-kilter way of looking at things!

My condolences for your loss. He was my best friend growing up in Edgebrook. Many fun times wandering the woods and streams, playing monopoly and hanging out.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Chuck´s passing and I speak for the entire Adair family when I say that our thoughts and prayers are with the Heller family. Chuck was a loyal friend and a great neighbor. Chuck could fix just about anything. He could also ride that vintage 10-speed bike all day long which he proved on 3 bike rides across Iowa. I will greatly miss him.

I´m very sorry to hear of Chuck´s passing. My sincere sympathy to his family. He was always such a nice guy. We played high school football and graduated together from NBHS. Rest in Eternal Peace Chuck. It was a pleasure to know you.
