Charles "Charlie" Page Hicks

Yes indeed I smile when I think about Charlie. He was my first boss after I graduated from college in 1979 and none better to mentor me as I learned how to be a great Industrial Engineer. He instilled in me the value of time. He would be happy to know that I have a had a very successful career in manufacturing partly due to his guidance. My husband, Frank and I, knew Charlie for many years. He is a great and wonderful man, a gentle giant. Whenever we visited he and his wife he always showed us, especially Frank, a great time. Unfortunately, we didn't see him much after he retired from Cooper and moved up to northern Michigan, which he grew to love, after his wife talked him into it. We are glad he had a great and lovely life and enjoyed his retirement.
