Dad... My pain is on a level that has no verbal description. Every since the first day I processed what death was the day you or my mother passing was dreadful and saddening to think about but it actually happening was nothing I could of ever imagined. I've had things happen to me in the recent years that caused me to lock myself away from everybody especially my family and friends from the Hometown of Aiken. 2 years I selfishly isolated myself unknowingly that I was hurting people that cared...

Our condolences to the Hightower Family and friends. I often speak of Charles being one of the older guys that lived in the projects on Sumpter Street that played a vital importance in mentoring and looking out for me when I was growing up as a young boy. Charles was one of them that took me under his wings and ensured no messed with "Pee Wee" and thought me so much. Never got the opportunity to tell you thank you I praise God that He allowed you to cross the paths of my life. Love you sir.

It's hard for me to say that you are gone Charles I seen you earlier that Friday before u went glory and you smiled at me, shook my hand and I thought I would see you later but who knew this would the last time we spoke.
