Charlie: It seems like I have been searching for you for 25 years as we lost contact when we stopped living together on the farm outside Auburn. After searching for your location intermittently much of my adult life, I now find that you passed away in 2010. You were a great roommate and a wonderful friend! Charlie was everybody's hero when I was growing up. And not just because the Hills were the best looking family to ever hang around Vestavia Country Club. It's because every one of them was imbued with kindness, incredible personality and the sort of character that are impossible to forget. Charlie exemplified it all.
My sincerest sympathy to everyone.
