I remember when Chuck would practice his golf swing in front yard while waiting to go play golf with his buddies. He would practice in back yard with waffle balls, occasionally making their way into our yard. Great conversations would follow.

My favorite memory of Chuck was when he explained that I wasn´t living in a small town anymore. I never had more than five dollars in my wallet at anytime often less. One day I had nothing and had to borrow some money for lunch at the 3M cafeteria at the Bedford Park Tape plant. Chuck was flabbergasted that I never had much money in my wallet.
