Not sure what to say?

Chuck was a lovely man. I worked with him in 1976-77 and he played in our wedding in 1977. A kind hearted and gentle man.

Paul and Kasi,
I am sorry to hear of the loss of your father and grandfather. Chuck was a very special man. He will be both missed but will always be remembered!

I enjoyed reading his stories in the Columbian magazine . He was a very interesting man.

I thought Chuck was one of the most precious and hilariously funny man that I ever met. Enjoyed his music and visiting with him when he was at Tallgrass. Lana Branch

I didnt know him,I am just reading his writings through Larry de la Porte..Condolences to the family

What a sweet, sweet man. I attended church with Chuck and Connie for years and cherish the memories of Chuck at the piano and Connie's wonderful smile. Kasi, I hope the memories are uplifting. Linda M

I'll miss Chuck's stories, but I am so greatful for all the wonderful memories and his laugh! He was such a sweet, wonderful man. His passing is our loss, but not his. I know he is very happy to be with Connie and Maryann. May it console you to know how many peoples lives he touched.

A job assignment required me to locate an obituary for an Audrey Hinman. In my online searching, I came across Chuck Hinman who had an Audrey in his family but it wasn't the person I was looking for. That didn't matter to Chuck as he started to share his columns with me and even encouraged me to write my memories when my Dad passed away. I really looked forward to Chuck's columns and am now looking forward to meeting him in heaven. Mrs. Linda Winstead, Manassas, VA.

I really enjoyed getting to know your grandfather, Kasi. I wish we had more time together. Your family is in my prayers. Janet Gould
