CHARLES HIRST passed away in San Diego, California. The obituary was featured in San Diego Union-Tribune on November 10, 2010.
I regret I leave town early tomorrow otherwise I would attend the celebration of Dick's life. We go back many years to the old and forgotten Chula Vista Jaycees. He and Jackie were always ready to do something with the " old timers "and I always enjoyed seeing one or both at CV Community Hospital events, Republican gatherings or just around Bonita. Dick was a wonderful friend to all of us at National Van Lines and National Forwarding for over forty years. We will miss him terribly.
