Not sure what to say?

With great sorrow I write this condolence. I wish I could have been with his family and friends for the funeral as his passing just came to my attention too late Chuck and I practiced law together for most of my career only parting after he retired. I truly had respect and admiration for him and considered him a friend. My heart hurts today.

Very sad to hear of the passing of Mayor Horn. He was a great leader of Kettering! My thoughts and prayers are with his Family.

I have read thousands of obituaries in my later years and Chuck's is one of the finest accounts of a life well lived which I have read. My sincere condolences to Chuck's family and friends who have had the good fortune of being close to this exceptional man.

I was honored to join Chuck's Saturday meet-ups at Tim Horton's and other places going back 20 years or more. I've drifted away from this prestigious group but will always cherish those Saturday lunches with Chuck, Mike Gibbons, Dave Westbrock, Bill Wild and many others. Our prayers are with Chuck's family during these trying times, but I'm sure they take comfort as I do in his spirit and contributions to future generations. May God grant that others are inspired by Chuck to keep the faith...
