Not sure what to say?

Dr. Horton was my pediatrician for 10 years (after Dr. Bob retired), and I also had the opportunity to shadow him while I was a pre-medical undergraduate in college. He was both a good physician and a good teacher.

Dr Horton was my daughter´s pediatrician since she was born and until teenage years. Dr Horton was a remarkable human being and a great doctor. We are so very grateful he was part of our lives. He is truly a role model of what a doctor should be - smart, kind, ethical, very professional. Thank you, Doctor Horton, for being in our lives. Our deepest condolences to his family and medical society. Huntsville lost one of its best.

So sorry about your loss. We will miss seeing him at Governors Drive Cleaners.

Dear Melea and girls, I am so sad to hear of Chuck's death. He was a dear friend of mine in medical school. He was always kind, funny, hard working, smart, and an all around wonderful guy! Please know that he was very well loved by so many people! I know that you all were his greatest joy in life! I pray for peace and comfort from our Heavenly Father for you all. The Lord bless and keep you! Sara Smith T (UA SOM class of 1993, and a pediatrician in Opelika, AL)

Dr Horton was out first and only child's first pediatrician. We are deeply saddened and our condolences go out to family and friends at this time. Praying for comfort and peace in this trying time.

Dr. Horton was the Pediatrician for our firstborn. He was calm, friendly and encouraged us. He was knowledgeable but also open to our concerns. I remember how much I valued that he administered vaccines and didn't leave it to the nurse. He was really a great doctor. My condolences to the family and Twickenham team.

We are so sorry to hear about Dr. Horton. Our children were his patients- they all loved him and so did us parents. He was kind and gentle, and a good old-fashioned doctor. Blessings to the family. May God bless you with His comfort and peace and strength.

Dr. Horton was my kids' pediatrician. I am so sorry for your loss. Your family is in my prayer. Praying God to guide you during this difficult time, keep you comfort and peace.

I will miss Chuck. I pray for him and his family. I believe he is home and I will see him again.
