Charles O. Hosterman Jr., 91, of Methuen, Massachusetts, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, and Superintendent of the Champion International Paper Mills, Lawrence, Massachusetts, prior to his retirement, died at Nevins Nursing Home, Methuen, on Friday, August 4, 2000. Calling hours are scheduled for Monday, August 7, 2000, 3-8 p.m., with officers and members of John Hancock Lodge, AF and AM of Methuen conducting Masonic services at 7:30 p.m., at Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, August 8, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen. Memorial contributions may be made to John Hancock Lodge, 275 Broadway, P.O. Box 273, Methuen, MA 01844 or the Shriners Burn Hospital, 51 Blossom Street, Boston, MA 02114.
